Spark Up & Sparkle for Pride Month: The Artist Tree Is Bringing “Studio 420” to West Hollywood
On Thursday, June 4, 2026, The Artist Tree West Hollywood is transforming its iconic consumption lounge into a dazzling, queer-centric cultural oasis. Studio 420: Celebrating Art & Pride, running from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM, is a star-studded, cannabis-infused celebration bridging the gap between LGBTQ+ activism, nightlife nostalgia, and modern cannabis culture.
Curated by The Artist Tree’s Curator-In-Chief, Katie Brightside, the "Studio 420" exhibition weaves queer history into a living, breathing dialogue. The gallery-opening format will showcase an incredible roster of LGBTQ+ artists exploring identity, creative freedom, and nightlife.
If you aren't familiar with The Artist Tree, it is cannabis retail reimagined as a living, breathing art space where creativity takes center stage. Their mission is to promote local artists and create meaningful cultural destinations that shatter traditional cannabis stereotypes. Each location redefines the modern dispensary experience through interactive, gallery-inspired spaces where creativity, education, and connection come first.
Art by Disco Daddy & Kii Arens
The artistic lineup features:
Disco Daddy: Vincent Braccia, whose bespoke, hand-crafted crystal artworks have dazzled icons like Lizzo, Lady Gaga, Cardi B, and Doja Cat, will debut stunning new fashion pieces.
Brian Sonia-Wallace: LA's Poet Laureate collaborating alongside One Archives.
Queer Visionaries: Britt Westveer, Cassidy Barnes, Jamie Roberts, Kii Arens, Mars Wright, Michael Osborne, and Ryan K. Henisey.
The physical exhibition will remain on view at the The Artist Tree West Hollywood Showroom from June all the way through September, keeping the revolutionary spirit alive all summer long!
The day is split into two segments:
3:00 PM – 5:30 PM: A screening of Studio One Forever, a documentary on West Hollywood’s gay nightclub legacy, followed by a live Q&A with director Marc Saltarelli and producer Gary Steinberg.
6:00 PM – 10:00 PM: A vibrant gallery format filled with boundary-pushing art, custom curated mocktails, a live charity auction, and community networking.
What's a high-class gathering without a beautifully crafted libation? Event producer Katie Brightside has personally designed two unique, signature non-alcoholic drinks to elevate the evening. Custom artwork has also been crafted to pair with each drink.
These masterfully blended mocktail masterpieces provide a sophisticated flavor profile for all guests:
The Daddy
Served elegantly in a 5 oz rocks glass, this striking drink features the vivid botanical hues of Empress 1908 0.0. Indigo, Liquid Alchemist Coconut, and homemade butterfly pea flower syrup. Shaken with fresh lime juice and water, it is finished with Glitter Faced Shimmer Elixir and a dehydrated lime wheel for a touch of liquid magic.
The Studio 420
Served in a sleek 9 oz stemless champagne flute, this sunset-vibe potion blends Fusion Verjus, Liquid Alchemist Passionfruit, and an artisanal Silver Needle tea Gomme. Splashed with fresh lemon juice and All The Bitter Alcohol-Free Aromatic Bitters, it is topped with Fever-Tree Soda Water and finished with Glitter Faced Gold Elixir and a matching gold straw.
Philanthropy is the true heartbeat of this experience. Ticket sales, specialty drinks, and a live auction, hosted by writer Adam Tschorn, benefit Project Angel Food. This nonprofit provides nutritious meals to those battling critical illnesses.
