Introducing the PAX Four: Our Honest Review of the Newest Vaporizer by PAX

When PAX offered to send their latest vaporizer, the much anticipated PAX Four, I was beyond delighted to take their newest offering for a spin! PAX vaporizers are always sleek but the PAX Four has an even more elevated look than previous versions of the PAX vaporizer. She is larger than the PAX Three which I love because it feels very luxury to hold in your hand. The chamber for your herb looks larger than ever and I adore the newest temperature settings. As a cannabis lover, vapes can sometimes leave me feeling unfulfilled, PAX has changed all that with their latest offering. Okay enough with the chit chat, let’s get into all my thoughts about the PAX Four!
PAX Four in Sage, $250
Let’s talk about my favorite new feature of the PAX Four first. The slightly higher temperature setting just really pleases the cannabis lover in me. The plume of smoke you get is the most satisfying of any vaporizer I have ever tried. The PAX Four gives you a mouth feel that is comparable to smoking a joint or pipe but also feels more delicate. I personally like having a large cloud when I exhale and this vaporizer really gives it you. It also keeps your bud tasting delicious and really brings out the profile of the terps. Charging the device is quick and it lasts about 4-5 sessions before needing to be recharged.
If you are familiar with using a PAX product the PAX Four will be super easy to use. I love that the chamber that holds your cannabis or other smokable is larger than past models and also easier to open. I use the raised lip mouthpiece when I use the PAX Four and that is also very easy to change from the classic mouthpiece. I have to say, this is the first user manual that was easy and clear to read with color images inside and it is also very concise. I appreciate that all the information is laid out and as I mentioned it is a very easy vaporizer to use and has lot of similarities to products PAX has offered in the past.
Something that is different about the PAX Four compared to past PAX versions is the chamber for herb is much easier to open and has a new design. I appreciate that as my PAX Three can be difficult to open at times and the new design makes it easier to open but still feels secure. There are also no games or disco lights in the PAX Four (unless I just haven’t found them yet). I didn’t really care for the games but I liked disco mode if you’re reading this, PAX! Another difference is the heating time is around 55 seconds, I think because the device is bigger and gets a little hotter, I don’t mind it is super quick but the PAX Three takes about 20 seconds from on to go for vape time. The colors of the PAX logo on the vaporizer and the buzz make it easy to know when it’s time to inhale.
Overall, I think the PAX Four is the best PAX product I have used yet! I love the size, color and new design on some of the key features and it really doesn’t feel like I’m missing out on those pretty clouds when I exhale which is a major plus for a cannabis user like me. I also feel like I am still getting the ritual performance of smoking with this piece. I highly recommend the PAX Four if you are looking for a vaporizer that gives you the best of both worlds when it comes to consuming cannabis.
